“We strongly condemn that part of the statement of the meeting of the finance ministers of the Group of Seven, which makes completely baseless and delusional accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Kanaani said. “We tell the G7 and the host of this round of its meetings, which are trying, with a limited number of members, to impose their demands on international multilateral structures through a selective and outdated method, to stop accompanying and appeasing the US with regard to the illegal sanctions that violate the fundamental principles of international law and human rights against the great nation of Iran, instead of leveling such groundless accusations,” he added. “The member countries of this group should be accountable to the honorable people of Iran and the international community for such flagrant violations and actions that run counter to international regulations, instead of participating in and reaffirming unilateral and unfair positions,” the official said.
