Meeting held between head of the executive council of the inter-parliamentary group of the Islamic Consultative Assembly Mojtaba Rezakhah, with Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian Head of the executive council of the inter-parliamentary group of the Islamic Consultative Assembly Mojtaba Rezakhah has met with Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and exchanged viewpoints on issues of the day and international cooperation on parliamentary diplomacy.During the meeting, Rezakhah talked about the strengths of the parliamentary diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the world stage and described existing opportunities in the parliamentary communities, especially the Inter-Parliamentary Union, as significant. He added that, seeing the presence of representatives from across the world in the union, its potential is important for consultations and countering major global challenges to which countries have paid less attention.Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian also announced the foreign ministry’s readiness to strengthen international cooperation with the Islamic Consultative Assembly in the field of parliamentary diplomacy and offered advices and proposals in this sphere.
