Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdolalhian has in a message congratulated his Romanian counterpart Bogdan Lucian Aurescu as well as Romania’s government and people on the country’s national day. In the message, Amirabdolalhian expressed hope that with their political will and joint efforts, Tehran and Bucharest, which both have a rich historical background, will expand their political, economic and cultural relations more than ever before based on mutual respect and interests.
