A session of the Iran-Belarus Joint Consular Commission was held at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs earlier on Tuesday, with Foreign Ministry officials and representatives of the Justice Departments, Interpol and the border law enforcement forces of the two countries in attendance. On the agenda of the meeting were important topics such as judicial cooperation on facilitating the issuance of visas for nationals of the two countries, border cooperation, fight against human trafficking and illegal migration, some issues related to Iranian citizens in Belarus and finalization of a document on transfer of convicts. The participating delegations were headed by director generals of consular affairs at the Iranian and Belarussian Foreign Ministries.
