Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasse Kanaani has answered questions by correspondents on reports by the Wall Street Journal on threats against one of the regional countries and relevant baseless and unfounded accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.“Such biased fabrication of news by some western and Zionist parties are aimed at creation of a negative atmosphere against the Islamic Republic of Iran and destruction of the ongoing positive trends with regional countries,” Kanaani said.“The Islamic Republic of Iran continues the policy of good neighborliness based on mutual respect and within the framework of the international principles and regulations, and believes improvement of stability and security in the region hinges on constructive interaction with neighbors and will continue this with seriousness,” the foreign ministry spokesman stressed.
