Speaking in a meeting with Nigerian Foreign Minister Zubairu Dada on Friday morning, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has a serious will to develop relations with African countries, adding, "Nigerian officials should also try to eliminate the possible obstacles that prevent the development of relations between the two countries”. At the same meeting, Nigerian Foreign Minister Zubairu Dada said, "We hope that in the new era, we will be able to further enhance the level of bilateral cooperation”.
