Speaking on Wednesday, while receiving the letter of credence of the new Bolivian ambassador, Dr Hassan Rouhani stressed the importance of developing and deepening Tehran-La Paz relations, adding, "The exchange of products needed by the two countries can develop different areas of relations between the two countries". Dr Rouhani wished the new Bolivian ambassador to Tehran every success and expressed hope that during her tenure, we will see the deepening of relations between the two countries. Bolivia's new ambassador to Tehran Romina Guadalupe said in this meeting, "Iran is a strategic partner for Bolivia, and we have always supported Iran's rightful positions, including on the nuclear issue, in international forums, and will continue to do so". Stating that she has been appointed ambassador to Tehran for the second time, she added, "Developing and deepening relations and strengthening friendly ties between the two countries is one of my main goals".
