Iranian and Bahraini FMs hold telephone conversation

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif Al Zayani discussed bilateral relations and regional developments during a telephone conversation.

Araghchi expressed concern over the escalating tensions in southern Yemen and called on all countries in the region to make efforts to preserve Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity. He underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers dialogue among all Yemeni groups to be the viable path toward resolving the Yemeni crisis.

 

The Bahraini foreign minister underscored the importance of maintaining peace and stability in Yemen and the wider region.

 

The top diplomats of Iran and Bahrain expressed hope that ongoing efforts would lead to the resolution of existing problems, the preservation of Yemen’s unity, and the strengthening of stability in the country.
