In the meeting, the Iran-IAEA cooperation, the resolution of remaining issues, the security of Iran’s nuclear facilities and the latest developments concerning Iran’s nuclear issue and sanctions removal were discussed.

Iran and the Agency have been cooperating with each other for a longtime, which enables them to resolve their few remaining differences provided that external political pressures on the Agency stop and the IAEA adopts an independent, technical, neutral and professional approach.

While protecting its national security and interests, Iran is committed to cooperating with the agency within the framework of its obligations under the safeguards agreement.
