The Spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry Esmaeil Baghaei has strongly condemned Israel's brutal attack on the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza.

The raid on Monday, which involved incendiary bombs, caused a massive fire and resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a large number of innocent people.

Baghaei described the incident as a textbook example of war crime and part of a broader plan of genocide against the Palestinians.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson reminded that international law prohibits attacks on civilian sites, especially hospitals and medical centers.

He stated that Israel's repeated and deliberate attacks on hospitals, and the killing of patients, injured people, doctors, and medical staff are enough to prosecute and try the regime's leaders for war crimes.

Baghaei also expressed deep regret over the obstruction by the regime’s supporters, particularly the United States and the United Kingdom, of any international actions, including by the International Criminal Court (ICC), to hold the regime's leaders accountable.

He stated that the assurance of 'impunity' is one of the main factors emboldening the Israeli regime to continue its crimes in Gaza and Lebanon, warning the regime's supporters of their moral and international responsibility.
