IAEA chief meets Iranian FM in Tehran

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on Saturday.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed the trend of cooperation between Iran and the IAEA. Amirabdollahian and Grossi also underlined the need to strengthen bilatetal interactions the two sides have agreed upon.
The Iranian foreign minister noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran is firmly determined to resolve safeguards issues using technical means as soon as possible.
The IAEA chief also stressed that the agency is ready to resolve all issues using technical means.
Grossi further underlined the need for diplomacy and dialogue for the purpose of resolving disputes and welcomed any initiative that would help push forward and finalize the Vienna talks in a fruitful manner.
