The 30th meeting of political consultations between the Iranian and Japanese Ministries of Foreign Affairs was held in Tehran on Saturday April 9, 2023.

On April 3 and 4, 2023, four-way consultations were held at the level of deputy foreign ministers of Russia, Iran, Syria and Turkey in Moscow. They discussed issues concerning the arrangement of the upcoming meeting between the foreign ministers of the four countries.
