Iranian FM EU foreign policy chief hold telephone conversation

On Friday evening Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi and EU Foreign Policy Chief Ms. Kaja Kallas held a telephone conversation regarding relations between Iran and the European Union as well as regional and international developments.

During the conversation, Araghchi referred to the continued violations of law and blatant breaches of international law resulting from the ongoing crimes and aggressions of the Zionist regime in West Asia particularly in the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon. The foreign minister underscored the responsibility of the international community to put an end to that regime’s crimes.

 

The Iranian nuclear issue was also discussed during the conversation, with Araghchi presenting Iran’s views on the matter.

 

Both sides underlined the importance of maintaining ongoing contacts and consultations between Iran and the European sides for the purpose of exchanging views on regional and international developments.
