FM Araghchi meets with Filipino deputy FM

Herra Lim, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, who is visiting Tehran to attend the Eighth Session of the Joint Consultative Committee between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of the Philippines, met this Tuesday afternoon with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs referred to the longstanding and friendly relations between Iran and the Philippines. Araghchi described the regular holding of political consultations and the Joint Economic Commission as a foundation for expanding bilateral relations in various areas of mutual interest.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, while presenting a report on his constructive talks with his Iranian counterpart, reaffirmed the determination and political will of his country’s officials to develop and broaden relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran
