Yemeni National Salvation Government spokesperson meets Iranian foreign minister in Muscat

During the meeting, Araghchi praised the honorable solidarity of the Yemeni government and people with the oppressed people of Palestine against the 16-month genocide and occupation by the Zionist regime in Gaza.
He emphasized that the support played a crucial role in the victory of the Palestinian people and resistance, and in imposing a ceasefire on the Zionist regime.
Araghchi also reiterated the principled stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting Yemen's territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
He stated, “Stability and security in Yemen are important for the overall security and sustainable development of the region.”
Referring to the recent visit of the UN secretary general's special envoy for Yemen to Tehran, Araghchi stressed the usefulness and effectiveness of continuing dialogue and the diplomatic path, reaffirming Iran's ongoing support for the Yemeni government and people.
For his part, Mohammad Abdulsalam expressed satisfaction with the imposition of the ceasefire agreement on the Zionist regime, noting that they are closely monitoring the regional developments and the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and are fully prepared to counter any aggressive moves.
He emphasized that Yemen's future actions in support of the Palestinian people depend on the opposing party's full adherence to the ceasefire.
Abdulsalam also provided an update on the latest developments in Yemen and highlighted the national cohesion and solidarity among the Yemeni people.
He expressed gratitude for the political and moral support from the Islamic Republic of Iran towards the Yemeni government and people against enemy aggressions.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual concern.َ
