Iran condemns Zionist regime’s violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and its threat against civil aviation

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei has condemned the Zionist regime’s threat against a civilian airplane carrying Lebanese citizens which disrupted ordinary civilian flights bound for the Beirut airport.

Baqaei described the move as the continuation of the Israeli regime’s gross violations of the principles of international law and Lebanon’s sovereignty.

He called on competent international organizations including the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to take serious action in order to end Israel’s dangerous behavior against the safety and security of civil aviation.
