Iran offers condolences over passing of ex-Indian PM

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei has offered condoles to the Indian government and people over the passing of former prime minister of India Manmohan Singh.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei has offered condoles to the Indian government and people over the passing of former prime minister of India Manmohan Singh.

Baqaei referred to the role of Mr. Singh in the economic development of India and in the expansion of ties between the two great nations of Iran and India during his tenure.

He then extended his sympathies to the family of the late Indian prime minister and prayed for divine mercy on him.
