Iran FM meets with ambassador to Syria

Hossein Akbari, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Syria, met with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister.

During the meeting, the ambassador provided a detailed report on the latest developments in Syria, as well as the measures and actions taken to ensure the safety and security of the staff, diplomatic premises, and consular facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran amidst recent events in the country.

The Foreign Minister, in turn, offered guidance on the need for continued close monitoring of developments in Syria to safeguard Iran’s national interests and security, protect Syria’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and maintain regional security and stability.
