In the meeting, Kazem Gharibabadi highlighted the friendly and fraternal ties between the two nations, referring to the Supreme Leader’s remarks describing Turkmenistan as a “kindred nation.” He underscored the need for further deepening these relations.

Gharibabadi also emphasized the significance of mutual support for each other’s positions and initiatives within international organizations, including the United Nations. He called for the continuation of cooperation and interaction on international platforms.

Gharibabadi noted the importance of economic relations and trade exchanges between the two countries. Expressing satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations in recent years, he reaffirmed Iran’s readiness to strengthen and expand cooperation across various fields.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, in turn, expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the two nations in bilateral, regional, and international arenas and emphasized the importance of further expanding relations.

Referring to the historical, friendly, and brotherly ties based on the kinship between the two countries, Meredov remarked that their relations have remained unaffected by external factors, have consistently followed a positive trajectory, and are poised for further growth.

During the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of maintaining high-level communications and expressed hope that the upcoming meeting of the Joint Economic Cooperation Commission would yield constructive outcomes for both countries and their peoples.
