Iran FM inaugurates new consulate in Damascus
During his trip to Syria Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian along with his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad visited the building of the consular section of Irans Embassy in Damascus which was hit in a criminal and terrorist attack by the Zionist regime.
During his trip to Syria, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, along with his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad, visited the building of the consular section of Iran's Embassy in Damascus, which was hit in a criminal and terrorist attack by the Zionist regime.
Amirabdollahian then inaugurated the new consular section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran together with the Syrian foreign minister.
While visiting different parts of the building, he talked with the Iranian ambassador and consul general and was briefed on the follow-up and day-to-day actions of the administrative, technical and consular staff of the diplomatic mission of Iran for the preparation and equipping of the new building and preventing the stoppage of consular services to dear Iranian nationals as well as Syrian citizens. Amirabdollahian appreciated and praised the efforts of the Iranian diplomatic staff to this end.
