Iran’s new ambassador to Malaysia Valiollah Mohammadi Nasrabadi met with Iranian Foreign Minsiter Hossein Amirabdollahian before setting off on his mission.
Iran’s new ambassador to Malaysia Valiollah Mohammadi Nasrabadi met with Iranian Foreign Minsiter Hossein Amirabdollahian before setting off on his mission.
During the meeting, Nasrabadi presented a report on the sphere of his mission and programs to be implemented at the Iranian embassy in Kuala Lumpur in different areas.
In the meeting, Amirabdollahian touched upon the significance of Malaysia in the Muslim world and Southeast Asia, describing bilateral ties as particularly important. He highlighted the need to boost mutual relations and cooperation in various economic, scientific and technological, health, agricultural, cultural and tourism areas.
The foreign minister touched upon the presence of Iranians in Malaysia, stressing the need to offer proper consular services to them.
Nasrabadi had already served in different capacities, namely as Director and Deputy Director of the Foreign Ministry’s First Office for Africa, Deputy Director General for the Foreign Ministry’s East and South Africa, Director General and Secretary of the Africa Committee, an aide to the foreign minister, Director General for Africa, Iran’s chargé d'affaires in South Africa, Iran’s ambassador to Indonesia, Ghana, Togo and East Timor as well as the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN
