Iran's FM meets with Indian foreign secretary

Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amirabdollahian met and exchanged views with Vinay Mohan Kwatra, India’s Foreign Secretary this Sunday afternoon.

 

Amirabdollahian emphasized the determination of the leaders of both countries to develop bilateral relations.

 

The Indian foreign secretary in turn expressed satisfaction with the political consultations meeting between the two countries.

He stated: "The Indian government, at the highest levels, is firmly determined to enhance relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran."

 

He expressed hope that through the joint efforts of both nations, the volume of economic relations will increase across various sectors, including agriculture, fisheries, traditional medicine, and more.

 

Highlighting Iran's significant role in the West Asian region, the Indian foreign secretary reiterated his country's commitment to continue sending in humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.
