“The Arab League was expected to take a positive and constructive step towards consolidating peace and stability and strengthening regional convergence by avoiding some repetitive and boring claims in its resolutions,” he added.
Meanwhile, Kanaani welcomed the constructive approach adopted by some regional countries aimed at increasing cooperation and giving priority to dialog and mutual understanding.
Referring to the views expressed by some participants in the Jeddah meeting, the spokesman expressed hope that the region will witness a new approach based on friendship and promotion of cooperation among its countries.
“The collective cooperation among the regional countries for construction and endogenous security are the basic components for the development of a new order in the region, and the Islamic Republic of Iran has always considered it a regional necessity,” Kanaani added.
