Iran’s Consul General to Georgia’s Batumi appointed
At the proposal of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and upon approval by President Ebrahim Raisi, Hossein Zafar Qassempour was appointed as Iran's Consul General to Batumi, Georgia.
At the proposal of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and upon approval by President Ebrahim Raisi, Hossein Zafar Qassempour was appointed as Iran's Consul General to Batumi, Georgia.
Before departing for the place of his mission, Hossein Zafar Qassempour met with Amirabdollahian and outlined the main prongs of his work plan.
The foreign minister also gave him the necessary guidelines.
Zafar Qassempour previously worked at the consular sections of Iran’s embassies in the Republic of Azerbaijan and Greece. He has also served as the deputy of the Passport and Visa Department and the head of the Consular Protection and Judicial Affairs Department of Iran's Foreign Ministry in the past.
