Iranian FM holds phone conversation with Kazakh counterpart voices hope relations will expand

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has during a telephone conversation congratulated Yermek Kusherbayev on his appointment as Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister. Araghchi also discussed bilateral relations and regional cooperation between the two countries.

Referring to the growing trend of Iran–Kazakhstan relations in all areas of mutual interest, he voiced hope that cooperation between the two nations would continue to expand in all fields.

 

Both sides also underlined the importance of coordination and effective cooperation between the two countries within regional and international organizations, including the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
