Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a phone call on Saturday with Iran’s top diplomat Seyed Abbas Araghchi. During their conversation, the two aides discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.
Araghchi and Abdelatty also held talks over the latest situation in Gaza in light of the agreement reached for a halt to the ongoing genocide.
The Iranian foreign minister voiced serious concern over the blatant violations of the ceasefire by the Israeli regime in recent days, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of Palestinians, underlining the responsibility of the ceasefire guarantors and the entire international community to prevent the continuation of killings and crimes by the Israeli regime.
The Egyptian side was also informed of Iran’s views regarding the nuclear issue.
