On the final day of our President’s visit to New York we hosted the President of Bulgaria the Prime Ministers of Pakistan Norway and Lebanon the Chairman of Sudans Sovereignty Council and the Crown Prince of Kuwait at President Pezeshkian’s residence.

On the final day of our President’s visit to New York, we hosted the President of Bulgaria, the Prime Ministers of Pakistan, Norway, and Lebanon, the Chairman of Sudan's Sovereignty Council, and the Crown Prince of Kuwait at President Pezeshkian’s residence.

I also received my counterpart from Switzerland and the EU’s Special Representative for the Persian Gulf region.

Additionally, I participated in the United Nations Security Council meeting on the Middle East situation (with a focus on Palestine and Lebanon), where I elaborated on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s perspectives.
I described the situation in Lebanon and the region as unprecedentedly alarming and stressed the urgent need for global action and Security Council intervention to halt the expanding scope of the Zionist regime’s war crimes.

After the Security Council meeting, I addressed journalists and responded to their questions.
